Full Description of event/sighting: While on my computer I heard a loud intense noise outside, it was like a steam boiler letting off steam or an oil derrick burning. It had a bubbly crackling sound, very loud and it lasted for about a minute and then faded away. The sky conditions were cloudy, no wind or very little. I live not to far from the highway and this wasn't highway noise, nor is there an air traffic route over head.

THE BRITISH MOD UFO FILES DECLASIFIED (18/2/2010)

The MoD department, which has dealt with more than 12,000 reports including 135 last year - was used to assess threats posed by any Unidentified Flying Objects sightings throughout Britain.

Any reports made would now not be investigated or followed up as the hotline had been closed, a spokesman said.

Flying Toblerones, mysterious illnesses and "silky-white substances" are among hundreds of close encounters described in previously top-secret files released by the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

More than 6,000 pages of material spanning from 1994 to 2000 holds hundreds of other-worldly experiences with unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and apparent aliens across Britain.

Aircraft of all shapes and sizes have been witnessed flying over a wide range of locations - including Chelsea Football Club and the former Home Secretary Michael Howard's home in Kent.

One man told police he was physically sick and developed a "skin condition" after an eerie "tube of light" enveloped his car in Ebbw Vale, in Wales, at 10.40pm on January 27 1997.

The file, the fifth released under a three-year project between the MoD and The National Archives, consists of 24 records of sightings, letters and Parliamentary Questions.

Highlights include a man who arrived at his Birmingham home at 4am on March 20, 1997, to discover an illuminated blue triangle hovering over his garden. The craft shot off leaving behind a "silky-white" substance on the tree-tops, which he collected in a jam-jar.

And a West Lothian electrician who spotted a "Toblerone-shaped" UFO hovering over a field. A sketch of the craft is included in the report.

Experts believe the records highlight how shapes of reported UFOs have changed over the last half-century.

Dr David Clarke, author of The UFO Files and senior lecturer in journalism from Sheffield Hallam University said: "In the 1950s the next big leap in technology was thought to be a round craft that took off vertically and it's intriguing to note that this is the same period when people began to report seeing 'flying saucers' in the sky

1985 Zimbabwe Ufo Sighting

Back in 1985, a round object topped with a cone was seen by dozens of peopleover the skies of Zimbabwe. With pilots, air traffic controllers, andcivilians among the witnesses, that country turned to aeronautical expertsfor an explanation. Now, a year and a half later, Zimbabwe's Air Commodore David Thorne sees no explanation in sight. "We have not been able to identify the object," he says. "We have had to classify it as a UFO."Although he didn't personally witness the object, Thorne reports that "thecraft was spotted as it streaked over southern Zimbabwe.

Then air traffic controllers watched it hover and tracked it on radar.

2 Air Force jets went after the object, and the pilots described it as incredibly shiny, reflectingthe colors of the sunset. Our estimates indicate that the UFO was traveling at twice the speed of sound. And when it got dark outside, we realized the object was emitting its own light. Our pilots are completely reliable,"Thorne contends. "This cannot be dismissed as a plane, weather balloon, or natural phenomenon.

But UFO skeptic James Oberg has his doubts. "The evidential value of unresearchable sightings in Zimbabwe is zero, however sincere the witnesses,"he says. "Besides, pilots are not always calm, dispassionate observers. They tend to perceive any visual stimulus in its most dangerous possible configuration -- as another craft.

That's a good characteristic of a safe pilot, but not a good characteristic of a UFO witness." Oberg also points out that "Zimbabwe is sort of on the edge of the civilized world in terms of tracking things that might cause this kind of UFO report -- like Russian and South African reconnaissance planes that, I'm sure, are flying over that airspace."(The Times, London, August 3, ) On July 22, 1985, in western Zimbabwe, a UFO was witnessed by dozens of persons on the ground and in the control tower at Bulawayo Airport, as well as by the pilots of two Hawk jets that were scrambled to pursue it.

The UFO was also tracked on radar. The UFO was very bright and rounded, with a short cone above it, and evaded the Hawk jets.

Abc News And The X Files

I have to tell you that I am really annoyed. Just last night, April 23, I happened to see on ABC News, the story of a meteor (or meteoroid, if you wish to get technical because it was still in the air) that had been seen over Nevada and California. It lit up the sky, roared above the witnesses, and generated any number of calls to emergency numbers whether 9-11, or sheriff and fire departments.

It seemed that almost everyone knew, pretty much was it was.

An astronomer said later it was probably a small asteroid, about the size of a minivan that had exploded above the ground. He said one this size hits the atmosphere about every year. Bits and pieces of it were picked up and I suspect the "Meteorite Men "(of Science Channel fame) were probably there within hours finding more.

So far, so good.

But ABC just couldn't resist relating this to UFOs and alien visitation. (True, it was extraterrestrial, but it then wasn't alien.)

They played the theme from "X-Files". They made reference to UFOs. All in good fun.

Except no one, but them, thought of this. The question is, "Why?"

To me, and I'm sure the people who are interested in these things, meaning meteorites, we didn't need the landscape cluttered with UFOs and the "X-Files". I enjoyed seeing the pictures and wondered why there was no video of this event. Surely a security camera somewhere, or someone with a cell phone or I Pad, managed to get a little bit of it.

Anyway, ABC proves, once again, what is wrong with the MSM (Main Stream Media). They just can't help themselves. They just have to inject a bit of personal opinion into the news... and was it news on Monday night when they reported on it? Everyone I know had already heard the story and seen the pictures.

First Recorded Testimony Account Of Alien Abduction Travis Walton

Millions upon millions of people throughout history have claimed to have been abducted by Aliens. It now is quite a common occurrence. Support groups for these individuals exist, so ones may share their experience as well as if traumatic be able to deal with what happened to them. TRAVIS WALTON ALIEN ABDUCTION 1975..

One such account was of Travis Walton, the first modern day recorded account in the mid 70s. His account of alien abduction brought many confident testimonies forward as his account became more widely known. In a way his testimony started the first awareness of Alien contact.

His story goes like this - On November the 5Th, 1975 in Apache Sitgreaves Forest, Arizona he was travelling back along a dirt road at night with his work mates. On the way home they all witnessed a bright light from the forest and Travis stopped the car and ran towards the light in the forest. All his work mates called him back but he kept going towards the light. Then Travis went missing All his work mates gave tesimonials of what they saw happened to Travis (the ufo, the light, the feeling) which only confused police and investigations..

Travis was found 5 days later dissoriented with his story of Abduction.

What makes the evidence of this experience interesting was that they investigated where he went missing but no evidence was found of his disappearance. In the video below Travis Walton discusses his experience further and how he dealt with it.

Travis Walton was the first recorded testimony account of Alien Abduction. Since his Abduction in the 1970s millions of others have had experiences with what they call Alien creatures. Still today this abduction phenomena is unsolved.. What do these Aliens want?

Someone from Austin commented to Rectangular-shaped UFO and alien encounter in Austin, with a sighting of their own that took place October 1, 2010, at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Here is that sightings report.

"I'm in Austin TX, I saw a giant black square craft over my house last night. Oct. 1st 2010 - around 10PM. It was moving at a fairly slow pace almost impossible to see because it was the color of the night sky, but against the horizon color I could see that it was solid and square. It also had very dim red lights on each corner, but VERY dim. It flew over and beyond the treeline. I have no idea how to explain what I saw, my house is very close to the airport and every night there are dozens of airplanes in the sky. Paranormal Google Indexing Issues

It seems like for the last three weeks this site has been having some major new post indexing issues with google, for some reason the homepage seems to come up instead of the post and It appears my post must be in the Google secondary results. What I do not get, is why this is happening? It's like google does not like paranormal blogs or something and it is really frustrating. ("Joke..")

I run other websites and blogs and they are all fine, I even just recently edited the robots.txt file to tell the serps what to index, but still the issue is not solved.. Any seo people out there, do you know what is going on..? I am stumped with it..? And am receiving less and less traffic as each new post is not indexed or pinged properly.. I added a sitemap as well which I thought would solve it but still no solution, "any ideas..?"

Short UFO fact: [January 1, 1970. It was New Year's Day, 1970, but it was supposed to be a routine morning shift at Cowichan District Hospital. Nurse Doreen Kendall was amazed to see something totally unexpected. Outside, about sixty feet away, a flying object was hovering at a height of about sixty feet, even with the third floor of the hospital. The object was saucer-shaped, with a transparent bubble-like dome in the center, and was tilted slightly towards her. Paranormal Investigation Equipment Checklist

Do you want to conduct your own paranormal investigation? If so you probably want a good list of devices used by some of the top paranormal teams out there, am i right? Most of these items can be purchased at the top supermarkets or from a lot of online retailers.

1. GOOD DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA - A good camera that has heat detection (thermal) as a setting. Often at times ghosts will draw the energy around from the place they are in changing and dropping the temp allowing it to show on a thermal camera.

2. GOOD DIGITAL SOUND RECORDER - This is for EVP (electronic voice phenomena) work. Sounds that you will not hear during the investigation but after analysis will be heard. This device backs up the evidence of the Camera work.

3. EMF DETECTOR - An EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) detector will help pick up EMF fields produced by large amounts of electricity. It is believed that getting large EMF readings where no electricity is present indicates a paranormal event is starting to happen. An excellent tool for finding the activity in a house. This is a common hardware item.

4. DIGITAL TEMPERATURE CHECKER - These are a good backup on thermal camera and EMF work when you find what is referred to as Paranormal cold spots. Areas which drop in temperature rapidly can indicate a spirit trying to manifest itself to the investigator. This Checker can add extra evidence to this observation especially when it drops dramatically.

5. TORCH - A torch is important if you are going to be in dark places..

OPTIONAL PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION EQUIPMENT

1. DOUSING RODS - Dousing rods are old tools that were used by psychics to detect energy. It could be water, it could be EMF or it could be paranormal energy. The device have been effective on many occasions..

Ufo Hits Wind Turbine

In Lincoln-Shire a UFO is believed to have struck a giant wind turbine.. Many witnesses claim seeing many lights in the sky previous to the crash and when the crash happened neighbours nearby claim to have woken to hearing it early Sunday morning.. Whatever it was, it is a real mystery, no remains have been found linking to the crash as the missing piece of the turbine is no where to be seen.. Many officials are baffled and the locals stay firm on it being a UFO which seems to be the likely answer..

unidentified aerial object in lower right portion of film. Film found to be unaltered. Size differential was not consistent with size of aircraft.
Conclusion: Inconclusive
B. Negative #2: Deplicting cylinder shaped unidentified aerial object in upper left portion of photo. Film found to be unaltered. Film showed object to be consistent with field depth and consistent with relative size of fixed objects. Conclusion: Legitimate negative of unidentified aerial object. Bolton/Reinfeld method did not reveal visible markings on object.
C. Negative #3: Deplicting irregular shaped unidentified aerial object in seven frames of 8MM film. Because of the size and apparent speed of object no further classification or conclusion could be drawn. Film shown to be unaltered.
D. 34 inches of 8MM film: Deplicting apparent colored object moving in front of still camera. Film found to be unaltered. Spectrography
revealed colors to be basic prism features. Depth analysis revealed object to be within 152MM of camera. Object was not consistent with relative size of fixed objects observed for several seconds in film.
Conclusion: inconclusive.
E. Original Negative Deplicting Unidentified Object: Film found to be unaltered. Because of a lack of fixed objects in the film, no depth analysis could be performed. Bolton, Reinfeld method revealed object to be saucer shaped, approximate diameter 37 feet. Object contained a
trilateral insignia on the lower portion of object. Conclusion:
Legitimate negative of unidentified aerial object.
2. Ref your request for further information regarding HQ CR 44, the following is provided: Capt. Grace 7602 Aintelg, INS contacted and
related following: (S/WINTEL) USAF no longer publicly active in UFO research, however USAF still has interest in all UFO sightings over USAF installation/test ranges. Several other government agencies, lead by NASA, actively investigates legitimate sightings through covert cover.

The theory is based on the concept that all universes around in the mega verse have a black hole.. Simply put, based on this theory, if we were to go through our black hole physically we would exit another galaxies black hole in another distant galaxy (worm hole theory).

The concept of this theory is so exciting and if true, would open up so many more doors on space travel and the universe..

One recent theory that has been pondered by many scientists is the theory of the beginning of life on Mars. Interestingly after discovering life in bacteria on Mars the possibility that life started there before Earth is becoming more likely. In fact the bacteria, once studied fully could help us know more about ourselves..

MARS ASTEROID THEORY

The theory is that a couple of hundred million years ago an asteroid hit the side of mars possibly even destroying most life there (except bacteria) and then ricocheted and landed on earth.. The small bacterias it collected while hitting Mars is the theory where life may have started. Maybe it all started on Mars..? Maybe as more studies on Mars the truth may finally be revealed.. Ufo Sightings In Norway New Orb Ufo Anomaly Flap

The following reports were submitted to the MUFON CMS within the past 24 hours. These are just a small example of recent (since last winter) orb and circle shaped sightings that have occurred worldwide. In particular, the number of described 'orange orb' sightings has increased tremendously. Granted, some of these could very well be Chinese lanterns...but I'm willing state that a majority of these sightings are legit unknown anomalies.

As well, the number of 'orb' sightings/photos has also increased dramatically. I literally receive 10-20 emails per week with photos of the objects attached. Are these simply moisture on the lens...light reflection...etc.? Or...are we starting to see a pattern of anomalous energy provided by unknown entities or sources? I've included several photos I have received over the past few years.

MUFON CMS - CSU Foothills Campus: Was taking photos of the night sky on LaPorte Avenue, near the CSU Foothills Campus and this appeared very briefly, perhaps for a second or two. Just a flash of light in an otherwise moonless and dark night at my location. This 'orb' didn't move, simply appeared and disappeared in the same spot.

Due to the long duration of my camera's exposures, it was able to capture the image.

MUFON CMS - East Falmouth, Massachusetts: My mother lives on a saltwater pond about 1/2 mile width in East Falmouth. She was awoken at 3:20AM on 7/2/10 by a very bright ("sparkling like a diamond, but brighter" as she puts it) white star-like radiant object hovering above the tree line across the pond from her house. She indicates it was the size of a silver dollar if held out at arms length and 4 finger widths above the tree tops. The light caused a wide V shaped reflection on the pond as if the full moon were shining on the pond but wider. The sky was clear. There were no noises.

The object hovered for approximately 1 minute upon which it moved approximately 1/4 mile to the left (South) and then a 90 degree angle straight vertical into the air and disappeared. The time elapsed between the moment it started moving, turned 90 degrees vertical and disappeared was approximately 2 seconds.

Distance was hard to deduce from our conversation and her experience but her estimates are that it was not too far beyond the trees that start 1/2 mile across the pond from her house.

I looked on Google Earth and if a line was drawn from the observation point to the object a few notable landmarks fall on this line in its path disregarding the variable of distance:

1 - Sand and Gravel Pit/Mine - Lawrence-Lynch Materials Corp. is located directly on the observation line at 396 Gifford Ave, Falmouth, Massachusetts.

2 - Beebe Woods with a kettle pond directly on the observation line.

3 - Otis Air Force Base - approximately 6 miles NE of observation point, not on the observation line but interesting.

4 - A large radio tower about 1/3 of a mile south of the observation line.

Mufon Case 24094 in Augusta ME witnessed two similar objects hours earlier on 7/1/10 at 10:30pm demonstrate exact same object/s and behavior per my mothers review of that case, but she did not see two objects as that case indicated, just one object.

MUFON CMS - California: My lady friend and me were walking home from somewhere. When we were in the pre-school parking lot I saw my lady friend look up. Then I looked up seconds later, and I saw a perfectly round disc shaped object directly over my head. As soon as I saw it it was already speeding away straight up. Actually I just got a glimps of it, but could see it had pink and violet swirls on it that seemed to be alive. It measured about 2 feet in diameter. It quickly disappeared into space.

In January 2008, I wrote a post on the increased orb activity worldwide. This activity seemed to wane a bit until this current flap of orb sightings.

2007: The Year of the UFO - Unidentified Flying Orb

Flying orbs of various sizes and colors have been witnessed since we started looking to the heavens. Most sightings were either meteorites and small space debris entering the earth's atmosphere or balloons and other explainable objects. Since the mid-1990's, the internet has given many of us a tool to witness this phenomena. That being said, the year 2007 was a period of increased unidentified flying orb activity worldwide.

From the United Kingdom to Lake Erie, from the Yukon to Australia, the sightings have been constant and similar for most of the last 12 months. What does these mean? Are we being observed by an alien species or is this activity government generated. There are many questions and very few answers.

One of the early reports was on January 19, 2007 when witnesses reported seeing an unidentified flying orb hovering for more than an hour over Bouyer Ahmad, Iran. The glowing sphere was described as bright yellow with a pulsating red center, the Fars News Agency reported. The sightings follow a UFO crash on January 10, 2007 in the Barrez Mountains, Iran. Deputy Gov.-Gen. Abulghassem Nasrollahi of Kerman province said police and other authorities were investigating the incident. He stated the crash could not have been an airplane or helicopter because all aircraft flying through the area on that day had been accounted for.

A week later, residents in the Charlotte, North Carolina area called 911 dispatchers and reported seeing a weird hovering light in the sky. Emergency dispatchers answered the calls in Iredell, Lincoln, Mooresville and Huntersville. One Lincoln County officer reportedly saw it, and the National Weather Service in Greer, South Carolina got similar calls. Even stranger, people in between the two areas in York, Gaston and Cleveland counties had no such 911 reports. The Federal Aviation Administration had no reports of plane crashes or unidentified craft.

In early February, 2007, the first of many (and continued) unidentified flying orb sightings was reported in Islington, North London, United Kingdom. Dozens of mysterious lights were spotted hovering in the sky, spreading panic among the residents below. The flying orange objects stopped traffic and left residents staring skyward in disbelief. Islington police received four calls within a matter of minutes.

Witness Alix McAlister, 34, a market stall trader from Bredgar Road, Archway, said: "I just picked up my son from nursery in Bredgar Road. I had just come out of the door when I noticed what was going on in the sky. There were a group of them - 10 to 15 of them moving together. My first impression was that they reminded me of a squadron of airplanes in formation. But they didn't have a proper formation and they were all moving at the same speed. I thought for a while that something was happening in the centre of London. Bombs and planes crossed my mind. But I realized very quickly that they didn't look like any aircraft I'd seen before. They were coming from the north and moving south. And then they kind of stopped and they were hovering. There was no sound. They seemed to fade away and I saw more coming and then they stopped. It lasted about 10 minutes."

To this day, similar sightings are reported regularly in the United Kingdom. Recently, five orange orbs were seen near Mynydd Isa on Christmas Day 2007 and has prompted numerous reports from other residents of similar sightings in Flintshire, Wrexham and Chester in the UK.

One of the more interesting sightings was in Didum, Turkey when several people reported seeing a strange light in the sky. The strange yellowish melon-shaped ball was spotted by several people near the police academy in Yesilkent, while regulars at the Ark Cafe, in Hunters Valley, spotted the same UFO-style lights. Witnesses described how the melon-shaped object was moving fast and in a straight line before swerving towards the police academy direction and towards the sea before disappearing over the horizon.

Some of the best orb footage was taken by Michael Lee Hill, captured over Lake Erie from the northern Ohio shoreline. Hill's orb video from 2001 had also appeared in UFO's Unplugged with Dan Aykroyd and David Sereda's film "From Here to Andromeda". Flashing orbs over Lake Erie 9-18-2007 video below.

In another interesting incident, a small dazzling transforming orb was sighted in the skies of India. It was spotted by an executive of a private company who filmed it on his camcorder and showed it to the M. P. Birla Planetarium Director Dr. D. P. Duari.

Dr. Duari described the object as very bright, changing shape from a triangle into a sphere and then a straight line while emitting various colours at 30 degrees on the eastern horizon. "No natural phenomenon is likely to last for such a long duration and it is not a meteor either, It is extremely interesting and strange," Duari said.

Very similar objects has been seen and described worldwide. Transforming from a sphere to a triangle then back to a sphere and usually in a stationary position. There have also been reports of small orbs flying close to the ground and causing ground and crop disturbances.

I have been observing these reports for many years and it is alarming to me the number of recent sightings as well as the information forwarded by regular people. Is the flying orb activity not as frequent has I state and just the result of better technology available to the public? Maybe...but then again, that is a good thing in my opinion. I do take heart that there may actually be something out there. Recent "X-File" disclosures by a few governments have confirmed that we are not alone in this universe and that the phenomena we are seeing may not be a figment of our imaginations. In the meantime, we need to insist that more disclosure be made available and that sightings be investigated thoroughly.
