Short UFO fact: [January 7, 1948, would be a day of tragedy for Captain Thomas F. Mantell of the Kentucky Air National Guard, and his family, friends, and fellow Guardsmen. The Mantell case will forever be an important part of the hotbed of UFO reports of the late 1940's and early 1950's. Mantell was piloting an F-51 that fateful day, soaring to Standiford Air Force Base, Kentucky. He was accompanied by three other Guard planes. At approximately 1:30 PM, the Kentucky State Police began receiving reports from worried citizens of spotting a large circular object flying over the city of Mansville. In a matter of minutes the area of the sightings expanded to cover Irvington and Owensboro.This large, metallic flying craft was then clearly seen from the tower of Godman Air Force Base. The object was described as being an extremely large, round, whitish in color, with a red light toward its bottom side, and seemed to be moving slowly toward the South. ]

Short UFO fact: [What happened to the Roswell saucer debris? An uncertified, but controversial document might provide an answer. Supposedly a brief prepared for then President-elect Dwight D. Eisenhower, this document was authored on November 18, 1952. It asserts that on September 24, 1947, President Harry S. Truman ordered the genesis of the highly top-secret "Operation Majestic-12," to study the remains of the Roswell crash. These papers would arrive in a plain manilla envelope, postmarked Albuquerque, in the post of Los Angeles television producer Jaime Shandera in December 1984. In the early part of 1987, another copy was given to Timothy Good, a British ufologist. These documents caused quite a stir, but their authenticity cannot be established beyond doubt. The jury is still out on the MJ-12 papers, but many ufologists view it as a hoax. The issue itself is not insurmountable, however, as a huge amount of evidence still remains to establish the Roswell crash as a reality.]

Are These Civilisation Remains On Mars

I found this really Informative video the other day about some of the anonymity's found on Mars, in particular in this video they call the area the Mars West region. While some of the image anonymity's could possibly be explained, there are some that are surprisingly intriguing. Some indicate the look of prehistoric carvings or possibly an old civilisation that has mainly been buried and in one there is a strange looking sculpture that looks like a dolphin..

What gets me thinking about these discoveries on Mars is it is such a new frontier for humans. Possibly what we will discover there if these are old civilisations, could open up many new doors to technology or even the understanding further into our original origin..

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT MARS SO FAR..

I think it is highly probable that there once was existence on mars, first of all they have already found life there in the form of bacteria, this is big news for science. Bacteria equals life in science..

Second there is large amounts of hydrogen there which would indicate water, possibly underground now.

Thirdly as we can already tell from geographically looking at the land there, it appears water was on the surface at one time, mountains were formed by this as well as river way evidence formed by water can be seen..

"So what happened I wonder on Mars..? Or are all these formations or evidences just flukes of planet formation..?"

Footage of UFOs at closer range, confirming visual observation of discs with rotating rims, was reported missing from film when returned by Air Force. The film was examined by the Air Force and Navy, but no formal reports released. Report on Photogrammetric analysis by Dr. Robert M.L. Baker, Jr., Douglas Aircraft Corporation, on file at NICAP. ]

On February 10, a US Navy flight, Atlantic/Continental Air Transport Squadron one, located at USN Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland, was out of Keflavik, Iceland at 49-50 degrees north latitude and 50-03 degrees west longitude about 150 kilometers [90 miles] west of Gander, Newfoundland out over the Atlantic Ocean. The aircraft was probably bound for Gander to refuel judging by its position and course of 230 degrees true, though the report does not mention this.]

The UFO eluded their pursuit and disappeared. When returning to base, one of the pilots looked back and saw the UFO following him. He turned to chase it, but the UFO also turned and sped away. ]
